Lightscribe is too damn slow

Why do you need a DVD burner built in to a printer anyway? Lightscribe is radical cool only issue is that it is slow.

It take me 25mins at best mode to make a good looking DVD/CD which make this not worth getting.

Ink hub disc is the best for mass producing of church services etc..

It is different I will say but not worth it. Get a HP c5250 or 5280 instead.

Good printer, poor burner

I have not had any problems with the printer or scanner. It is a great office printer. Having the extra DVD drive is handy but limited functionality in this format. I was excited to try the Lightscribe. Needless to say I am frustrated and not impressed with this functions limitations. All you can do is put a text label on the disk, and you have to use the printer touch screen to type that in. The least HP could have done was arrange the on screen keyboard the same as a computer keyboard. It is too bad that you cannot use the full function of the Lightscribe drive. It seems like a real waste.

I was a little anxious about purchasing this product after reading some opinions of people who had purchased this item. I liked the features of this printer, also the price was very attractive, so I decided to take the chance. After the usual problems of instalation with Windows Vista I finally got the machine installed. The scanner is very good and so are the color prints. I usually have my printer set on "best", so I am using quite a lot of ink, but the results have been worth it. I am still having some problems using the "lightScribe" feature which my computer seems to loose track of. When I have been able to use it the results have been satisfactory. I've printed over 1,000 color prints to date, o.k.

Great Printer

I bought this printer about two weeks ago and haven't had any problems with it at all. The wireless was extremely easy to set up and works perfectly. The only problem I have had is getting it to print on 1/4 size envelopes but I think that problem is with the program I'm using rather than the printer. I'd give this printer 5 stars and recommend highly.
