Subtle but worth it
Absolutely wonderful.
Not a perfect scuba simulation, not a perfect game, not for those with an ADHD attention span. Instead what you get is an imaginative, engaging journey that few video games if any will approach in a commercial market. You spend your hours exploring the coral reef ecnountering fantastic adaptations of sea life from whales, octopus, dolphins, sharks, starfish, penguins, and a wealth of brilliant fish. There is on-line play, a modest plot of interest, and ability to play your own mp3s. Visually, the game is appealing despite the lower resolution graphics of the Wii system compared to other systems.
My only hope is that more games like this will surface in the gamer community.

Grand daughter loves it
Endless
Ocean
was a birthday gift for my eleven year old grand daughter. My eleven year old grandson said, "Oh Grandma, that is such a lame game." I bought it for Sami anyway and she loves it! Her three year old sister sits beside her and squeals when she sees a sea creature. The seven year old brother complains because he never gets a turn. I guess the moral is, know the recipient. (Sami wants to be a marine biologist, if that doesn't work out I'm sure she will be saving animals somewhere.)
Entertaining & Relaxing
A unique and beautiful game that allows you to explore a rather well-sized piece of
ocean
that includes reefs, deep trenches, caves, and sunken ruins. Playing the part of a professional
dive
r, you will have the opportunity to interact with and identify many real-world creatures.
Though there is no "ultimate goal" in this game, you do have the opportunity to partake in some minigames, such as training a dolphin to do tricks, or taking clients to seek a particular fish. Satisfy your client, and you will be rewarded with a new piece of equipment to customize your diver's appearance.
Though the graphics seem a bit dated for what you would expect from such a visual-intensive game this day-and-age, it is still a breathtaking experience. And if the Enya-esque music isn't your style, you have the option of loading mp3's from an SD Card.
If you're tired of the high speed intensity of the majority of today's games, looking for something to just kickback and relax with, or love the idea of ocean exploration, I highly recommend this game.

ok
A nice non violent game I will let my granddaughter play. Its also cheaper than the real vacation.
Slow moving, but enjoyable
I was unsure about this game at first. I got it for my husband for Father's Day as he is a
dive
r. I thought it was a little slow and not very exciting. HOWEVER, my husband loved it and my kids, ages 10, 8 and 7, absolutely love it. They would play it for hours if I let them. They have a blast finding new fish and other sea creatures. I highly recommend this game. It's nice to have a game that's not competitive at all.
