Give this book a try.
This book deserves a serious try. I liked the introduction, and the detail and coverage of
trigger
point
issues seems quite complete. I will have to use the book longer to see if it will work as I had hoped, but I definitely think the book and the method is worth a try, so I recommend it.
So good my first copy was stolen. I had to buy another!
Great for working out knots in
your
self
and great for technique on others. So good my first copy was stolen. I had to go buy another copy. I refer to it a lot. It gives technique you might not have thought of.
The best solution to pain I've tried
I injured by lower back and started treatment with a therapist who recommended the book. She showed me how to use the tennis ball and I started doing it without much conviction.
I didn't have to read the whole book, only the beginning, where it explains how
trigger
point
s work and how to perform the massage, also the section for the muscles involved in my injury.
If you read and follow the instructions carefully you'll feel
relief
very quickly. In my case I needed a few days, but I think it was due to the fact that I needed time to improve my technique. Currently, when I start being bothered by the
pain
, I massage the spots in less than 5 minutes, and feel relief right away.

THANK YOU ALL!!!
I rely on reviews to determine whether or not to purchase & the reviews on The
Trigger
Point
Therapy
Workbook sold me, so thank you all for taking the time to write!!! This is my 1st review, but I felt I HAD to do one, since this book has changed my life & if what I write helps just 1 person, it's worth it!
I am a disabled vet who has suffered with back
pain
since the late 80's. I bought the Davinci tool & it does help, but The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook is the ONLY source I've found {and trust me, I've been searching/going to Drs. for 20 YEARS} that shows me *where* my myriad problems stem from and just *where* to use my Davinci tool!
I started with problems in my lower back, and as anyone who has chronic pain can attest to, the pain caused me to favor that area, which caused problems in my upper back/shoulders/etc.
In the early 90's I started having sinus/allergy/migraine attacks and tried prescription & OTC medications and then holistics. My
relief
was always short-lived {I have a very low pain threshold coupled with a high threshold for meds} I used the techniques in this workbook and haven't had to take those meds!!!
I TOTALLY agree with David A. Lessnau - this is REAL!!!

Trigger Point Therapy Workbook
This is an incredibly helpful book for those dealing with
trigger
point
s. It can be used alone with a TheraCane or with someone else applying the pressure. Concepts are explained in understandable terms, navigation around the book is easy. We liked this book so much we bought one for friends as a wedding gift!
