Back for a 2nd one!

I don't have any experience with the $500 guards you can get through your dentist so I can't compare, but I'll say this:
I was clenching my teeth at night and waking up with awful headaches every day. I started using the Dental Hygiene Preferred Night Mouth Guard and although it felt a little strange the first night to try to fall asleep with something in my mouth like that, it didn't keep me away (which is saying something!) The headaches improved in days.

Unfortunately, my guard disappeared off my night stand (and my dog looks very guilty) so I'm back to order a new one!

Good solution for teeth grinding

When my doctor offered me a teeth grinding mechanism that cost $250, I started looking for alternatives. I ordered this and it did the trick. I had to order a replacement after six months, but I am a serious "grinder". Great solution for me.

Altough these need to be boiled firsts for fitting, they are much more durable and steady than the adjustbale Sleep Rights or are they call Simply Sleep? Those are thin, very flimpsy, and fall out as your jaw manibles move. Truly recommended for heavy grinders and they come with 2 sizes, almost like buy one get one!!

mouth guard

This mouth guard is better than any other drug store ones. BUT if the small size is the one for you, you can buy one a bit thinner that works really well in the sports section of walmart for 97 cents! It works great if thinner is what you are looking for.

better than the more expensive versions

I have tried night guards that cost almost twice as much, and these fit better. You get two different sizes, but they are not exactly the same. The larger one (which was too large for me) was composed of two different consistencies. I wish the smaller one had been as well. The directions are clear and accurate. I was able to readjust mine several times. I wish they came in bright colors because I keep losing mine in bed when I sometimes spit it out during the night.
