SanDisk Extreme III & RescuePro Software

This is the second 2gb Extreme III card I own. I use this card in my Pentax K10D. Bottom line, it has a much quicker write & read rate then the SanDisk Ultra SD card. When I shoot a quick series of photographs I noticed how much more quickly the Pentax can write to the Extreme III 2gb writes compared to the Ultra 2gb card. I was so impressed that I purchased this card, my second, and have plans to purchase at least two more.

In addition, this card comes with a photograph recovery program called RescuePro. If you have ever deleted photographs from your card by accident like one of my friends, you will be glad you have this software. I used it on her card and recover about 290 photographs out of 300. That is a petty good percentage considering she thought that they were all gone for good.

Extreme!

Got this because of its advertised resilience to temperature since we do a lot of backpacking. I havnt really put it to the test but I do think I noticed that the amount of time to save an image is faster, pictures appear on the screen immediately after taking the shot. And in the past, I have never had a problem with a sandisk product.

Excellent card for the money

The card functions as expected and for a terrific price. The software that comes with the memory card to recover deleted pictures has been a life saver! I used some free software before this, and I was actually able to recover more files using the software from SanDisk. Very impressed... highly recommended.

EXTREME!! YES

Bought this Extreme III card on the basis of other reviews. Did not know the difference between cards. Thought all were the same except for brand names and GBs. Used this card and new Canon SD750 at my daughters wedding at Sandals Royale Caribbean in Jamaica and am very pleased with the results. The wedding was on the beach and you can just snap away one after the other photo. The camera sends it to the card and the card reads it EXTREMLY fast. Highly recommended.

Fast and cheap

Have only used this for a short while so far, but looks to be fast, and was inexpensive. Would recommend it for those characteristics, will update review if it fails.
