V1003 Results

Pictures of wildflowers, both distance and close-ups were found to be quite comparable to those taken with my 10x optical Kodak camera. A "stitched" photo of the USS Ronald Reagan came out well. My only objection to the camera's features it that it doesn't have a viewfinder (very useful when in full sunlight and the screen is hard to see).

Not that bad!!!

Too many bad comments about this product. I have to be fair. The quality of the pictures can be as good as that of my Canon SD630 (the auto-focus function is even smarter because it knows where to focus), and much better than my older Sony Cybershot DSC-T5. It also amazes me with the very smart panorama function, allowing me to take 3 different pictures then merge them together to make a wide panorama.

That said, it can be the slowest camera I ever had in terms of operation. However, I don't mind that because I don't use it for taking pictures of children. For my personal need, I would give it 4 stars.

Kodak Digital Approved!!!

I think it's a great camera especially for the price! It has a lot of features and I'm technologically challenged so it's taking me a while to figure out all it all it has to offer but I would definitely recommend it to family and friends!!!
