Accurate and Easy to Use

I've used this product for almost a month now. It's easy to use and has proven accurate. I took it to my cardiology appointment and it gave the same readings as the doctor's equipment. Plus, I was told this is the unit most doctors recommend, due to its accuracy. The software that came with it (as well as a USB cord) make it possible to easily download your results onto your computer and print the results or save them. It comes in a sturdy plastic case for storage or travel. The manual is easy to understand. I would recommend this to anyone needing to watch their blood pressure and pulse carefully.

Great unit

I have high blood pressure and this really helps me keep it under control. I like that I can transfer the data to my PC for anaylsis by my physician.

Easy to use, does what what we want.

We purchased this monitor to be able to quickly and conveniently monitor blood pressure. It is very easy to use, appears to be accurate, and just does the job.

The positioning sensor makes sure you have the unit in the proper position for the reading.

I didn't rate this a 5 only because there was nothing really outstanding about the product. It does the job, plain and simple.

Very good device

I bought this for my dad. He has chronic hypertension.

Pros:

* slick design
* very silent
* monitoring software
* great display
* high quality
* accurate measurements
* multiple measurements possible for improved accuracy
* heart position sensor

Cons:

* throws an error in cases of low pulse rate, weak pulse and arrhythmia (another device we used had the same problems, but that one was 3 times cheaper)
* user switching is not straight-forward

Overall, this is a very good device and probably the best you can get for home use if you need a electronic on-wrist BP monitor.

Compact, accurate, data logging, Great product.

I like what Omron did with this BP monitor.

Pros:
Compact
Accurate
Easy to read display
Has memory to log readings over time
Computer interface to download memory (print or email to your doc.

Cons:
Instruction could be clearer
Included software could have a clearer user interface

I really like the way it measures the blood pressure AS it pumps up so it never pumps up higher than it needs to to get a pressure reading. Many other BP Monitors pump up to 160-180 then measure the pressure as it bleeds off the air.

To the Engineers: I'd like to see the next model have a wireless way to transfer the data. I travel which is why I bought a compact monitor. My laptop case has too many cables already and now I have another one. Consider WiFi, Bluetooth, SD card. Also a backlit display would be nice. I would pay more for these features.

As a former Biomed tech that tested and repaired 100's of BP Monitors I can say with some authority that this is a winner.
