Highly recommend

Up to the high quality I would expect from the Harry Potter series. Highly recommend. Lots of action.

All the wrong stuff was cut out, all the unimportant stuff was left in

This movie was way to short! They left out a lot of stuff that is sgnificant in Deathly Hallows (i.e. the mirror that Sirius gave Harry, that has a BIG part in DH). Well, I guess a five hour movie wouldn't be a success. Let me tell you something, the special effects were AMAZING, the best I've ever seen in a Potter movie. But I was extremely dissapointed by the pensieve scene (the one that was kinda like a flashback from when Snape, Lily, and James were at Hogwarts). It was really rushed, and if I hadn't read the book I would have been wondering what the heck happened. But this movie is good in some places. If you love movies that have awesome special effects, Potter fan or not, you need to see this.

Case is broken when the shipment arrived

I bought this DVD as part of my collection. Shipment was fast, however, the DVD case was broken (like something heavy was put on top of it, one side is really crashed). Good thing the DVD itself is in good condition.

Reminds me of where I used to work!!

Greetings,
The opening scenes reminded me of where I used to work in London just off Whitehall at Great Scotland Yard before the building was shut.
The steam locomotive used in the film is a GWR preserved Hall Class No 5972 Olton Hall, although painted in Maroon and Black when Great Western Railway steam locomotives would have been painted Malachite Green!!
This edition can only be played on my computer as my dvd/combi is unable to play NSTC DVD'S.
Yours Sincerely,
Philip Wilton
