Simple, Elegant

This book needs no review from me--time has proven it to be essential to any writer. This edition is lovely: sturdy hardcover, quality materials...if you don't have this yet, it's worth getting!

Elements of Style review

This is an excellent book. All authors (or soon to be authors) should consider adding it to their core readings.

If you don't own it, you should

If you didn't buy this one in high school, grab yourself a copy now. This baby is the bible of good writing basics. Don't know the difference between and m-dash and an n-dash? Not sure where to use that semi-colon? Strunk & White has the answer. As a professional writer, I've found it invaluable. But it's equally worthwhile for anyone who regualarly communicates via the written word.

Non Fiction

An oftimes useful guide to help with writing, and how to do it correctly, and formally. Given that this is pretty old some of the usage and advice is archaic and can be ignored because of that, but other general advice and information is quite good.

Well worth a look for writers, journalists, or those that have essays etc. inflicted on them as assignments.

This is valuable asset for any one who wants to improve written skills in english. I found the book very crisp and to the point.
