I find the best prices for Canon cartridges on Amazon.
I have used compatible ink cartridges and Canon cartridges, the compatible brands don't come close to Canon brand.
I saved money on the off brands but the print head clogged,I have never had this problem with Canon cartridges.

I have had over seven different types of printers in the past 10 years, all ink-jet, and have tried all the after market Ink systems. But when you find yourself asking for the best when reproducing glossy color photographs, it's made by the Manufacture, as with Cannon. You buy a Cannon, then, use Cannon Ink, and the BCI-6BK has yet to disappoint me, where many others have, and we all love to save money.

Ink cartridges that are best for me

My rating is based on the fact that I have been using a Cannon S900 printer for over 4 years. During this time I have used a variety of after market ink cartridges as well as self fill cartridges for printing photos or documents. None of these provided the print quality as the Canon. As such, I only buy Canon ink cartridge (6 for my printer).

CANON INK IS THE BEST

I purchase Canon products for my two Canon printers. I have a 970I and a new MP500. I have found that using Canon ink and paper always gives me outstanding quality photos. The BCI-6BK black ink tanks are easy to load and there is never any ink mess. The black ink seems to be darker than other brands when used with a Canon printer.
