very satisfied customer

I got a great deal on this bluetooth and it works perfectly. It's a great size (the larger one I bought for 3x the price wouldn't stay on my ear). I would recommend this one hands down. (I also know 2 other people who have and love it, but paid much more for it!)

A good, solid headset

This was a replacement for a Plantronics Voyager H570, which was a bit bulky, cumbersome to use, and an unshielded, oversensitive mic that picked up way too much ambient noise (wind, footsteps, etc.).

When I first attached the Motorola H700 to my ear, the first thing I noticed was that I hardly noticed it at all. It's so light! In terms of sound quality, it's decent. Not quite as good at putting the actual phone up to your ear, but what is? The person at the other end of the phone reported being able to hear me much clearer, and not detecting any footsteps (mine) or wind noise. Subway commuters note: It does transfer train noise as they arrive and depart from the platforms; my conversation partner reported an earsplitting shriek as one pulled away.

In terms of features, it can be used on either ear, has three buttons (somewhat customizable), and works with the voice dialing feature of Windows Mobile (and maybe others, I didn't test).

Here's the laundry list:

Pros:
-Lightweight
-Good reception with the device several feet away
-Configurable
-Good ambient noise reduction (non-vocal)
-Can be worn on either ear
-Good value for the price

Cons:
-Relatively short battery life (but a short charge time to compensate)
-Noticeable drop in quality over 5 feet away, lack of line of sight
-Pairing process a bit cumbersome, can sometimes be severed if the phone or its bluetooth receiver is switched off/disabled.

Final word: Buy it. If you don't like it, go spend $100 for a Jawbone or something.

Great bluetooth

My wife has had this for a year. My attempts at other earpieces were not successful. I finally gave up and ordered one for me and my mother-in-law. With the new law coming into affect I couldn't wait and waste more money looking. This is the best buy for the money.

Great for driving handsfree

This is great for driving handsfree. I uses crutches so it good for keeping my hands free while walking also. A+ product

A gift for my brother in law

I ad previously purchased this from another store for almost double the cost .. That too was a gift for my cousin. It has been working fine for the past 6 months and when i had to buy a gift for my brother in law who had recently purhased a "pearl" mobile, i thought of getting this bluetooth headset .. it paired without any problem with his phone and also with my sister's LG phone (I do not remember the model) .. i had also tested it before with my V3i. My sister did mention about lot of background noise which i had not noticed.

For me, the headset worked decently and the sound quality was good. I called my wife and she said she could hear me well and i too did not have any problem hearing her voice .. overall i was satisfied with my purchase
