Killer portable mouse, WAY better than BT

I tried (and own) 3 highly-rated Bluetooth mice with my 17" PowerBook and recently my 17" MacBookPro. All had frustrating "jumpy, unpredictable cursor" too often. Then I got a USB Logitech VX Revolution for home use and LOVED it. So got a VX Nano for portable use...it's FABULOUS! Both these wireless USB mice connect instantly and there is NO connection instability during use (as long as USB transmitter has reasonable line-of-sight to the mouse). The scroll wheel works well in both modes. Sideways scrolling is good (altho I like the Apple Mighty Mouse 360deg ball better). Overall, I'd say: nice feel, good ergonomics, excellent function. Worth the price!

great cordless mouse

This mouse is awesome. It is small, has the smallest USB receiver I've ever seen (which can be stored inside the mouse by the 2 AAA batteries). Has three programmable buttons. I'm using it on a Mac and have had no problems. Has a power on/off button to conserve battery, but also sleeps after a few minutes of no usage. scroll wheel switches between frictionless scrolling for uber speed and clicking scrolling for precision rather than speed.

Logitech Mouse

I do not like using the touch pad on my laptop so I did a lot of online research for an external mouse. Since I have had nothing but good experiences with Logitech before and this mouse had the features I want I choose to order it. I am not in the least bit disappointed. All the features plus some in a small portable mouse that is also easy to carry in my laptop case when I am out in the field. Highly recommended.

absolutely awesome mouse

Tried a few mice before settling on this one. Absolutely steer away from bluetooth mice, I learned this the hard way. This mouse feels awesome in the hands, is built well, lightweight. And I love the multi purpose middle button. Also probably the best feature is the ridiculously awesome scroll wheel. Just click the wheel to switch between modes (I like the smooth scroll option for web browsing, and precision scroll for photoshop, etc). If youre looking for a wireless mouse, absolutely buy this one, you wont regret it.
