This is my second Epson printer that prints on CDs- it is so easy to use and the labels come out looking professional.
You can put a photo in the background and it comes out very clear--pretty amazing for the price!

Great machine WITH the right drivers

This is a great machine and does everything I'd hoped for. But there is a caveat. Current versions are shipping with windows drivers for everything up Vista -- which DO NOT WORK for windows 7(64 bit). So if you follow the instructions and install them you will be watching a very confused machine doing nothing -- which is a bummer. However if you go straight to [...] and download the Windows 7 64 bit package -- everything works just perfectly! It is true that Epson did include a 1 page "correction" -- which was buried at the back of the pack. Being an impatient sort, I just followed the Quick Start version and got nowhere. My bad, I suppose, but if you will simply go to the website you will find, as I did that everything works and you will be ready to enjoy a wonderful printing experience at a great price.

Epson Artisan 50 inkjet printer

I have used the Epson Artisan 50 ink jet printer for about 3 weeks and have made about 5 DVD graphics in white printable DVD discs. Thus far it's worked fine--terrific color resolution and easy to use, onc I understood how to use the tray for printing on discs (not fully explained in the manual). For $100, it's a real bargain.
