Pretty darn good book

This book is no where near as dull as Adobe's manuel. It is very user friendly and does carry you all the way through a procedure, unlike some of the other books I have bought to help me through the various versions of Elements. Larry

Very useful

Well organized taking me through the "new user" learning steps. Also excellent for looking up a function and showing how to do it. Worth the money.

Elements 5

This book assumes that the user has a fair amount of knowlege of photography. It is not suitable for a total beginner. With a lot of study and going back and forth through the chapters it is possible to produce excellent work. I would consider that it is worth 4 stars for content but only 2 stars for layout and organisation.

Great book

Covers all the topics I need to know in order to improve my photos. Fun to read and easy to understand. I refer to it constantly.

Excellent book

I checked out this in a store and knew I wanted a copy. As stated in the book, this is not an in-depth guide to every option and filter available. Scott Kelby gives a how-to guide for real-world fixes. His light style of writing makes it easy to follow and he doesn't weigh it down with technical jargon. The physical quality of the book is very good, too. I'll be looking for more of his books in the future.
