it's a wonderful laptop

If your a novice or expert it's great. i bought it for my boyfriend who is a computer tech who wanted something new to figure out but i use it more then him. it's very portable and easy to use. i was nervous about using lynux but i actually like it. my only complaint is that i had to get an external mouse because the mouse pad is very little and hard to navigate although he has no problem with it and the keyboard is small as well but it just takes sometime to get used to it but overall i love it. i have recommended it to many of my friends and co-workers all ready if your thinking about it get it it's a great computer for the money.

For a person who is not computer literate this is a great buy. It is just like using your cell phone menu. I suggest this computer for anyone. No matter if you are 10 or 100. I love the way it fits in my purse. I can take it anywhere. It's easy to connect to the internet. I am always on the go and it is always right with me. If someone is looking for a 1st computer I suggest this one.

Great little machine. Bought for my 11 yr old daughter and its perfect for her. LINUX really rocks; easy to use, the machine is fast. I've seen college students use this laptop. Its perfect for surfing and applications. I heard ASUS is coming out with 10 inch model - can't wait.

2g Green Surf

I just recieved my asus eee 2g surf pc today, two days after ordering! I placed my order on the 15th around midnight and it still came today! I was very excited. I met a few problems trying to enable full desktop (im not too keen with linux, but i eventually figured it out by visiting some forums) but other that everything is fabulous! I plan on using the eee for taking notes in classes (im a college student) and for browsing around campus ... if the eee had some kind of day planner installed it would be perfect!

I love it!

I love it because it's really portable and it is absolutely true that it is a great internet experience! While I was abroad, I could surf the internet, check e-mails, chat and talk with my friends and family. Besides, I could listen to music, organize and backup my photos. Furthermore, with OpenOffice I did NOT miss MS Office at all!
