2 generations love this....

We bought the Raffi CD as a gift for our granddaughter. She is 3 months old and seems to love the music as much as my sons did when they were very young! The lyrics are timeless!

Enjoy the music, avoid Raffi

My kids have loved him, and we found him one of only a few children's-music singers who didn't wear thin on parent's ears! The others are Fred Penner, Mary Rice Hopkins, and Jonathan Edwards (Little Hands.)

The trouble is when Raffi decides to "go serious" and sing these abysmal "save the diverse planet" stuff. His talent evaporates, and you can feel the smug didactic fog rolling in. A visit to his website is full of such nonsense.

Which gives us a chance to teach a very important lesson to our young kids: being a good singer doesn't mean you are a good or wise person, any more than being a good plumber or left-fielder does. I like the Beatles, but their behaviors outside the studio left much to be desired.

Easy listening

This collection is easy to listen to. My baby loves it and the songs are addicting for both daddy and I. It's a must for babies!

My 18 mo.-old loves it!

Our pediatrician recommended Raffi for our 18 month-old son. He loves it, and my husband and I have been enjoying it, too.
