highly recommended
I love it, but the letters rub off very fast, no response from tech support.
I love the
keyboard
, great feeling, low profile, love the way it
type
s. It's a little hard to get used to with the layout, but once you've used it for a while it feels more intuitive than the regular layout. (it's tighter, easier to access keys)
My main problem- and this is a biggie- is that the letters disappear quickly. Within a week of having it, the letters started to lose parts of themselves. Now, a year later, I have no markings on the cvbalnmsfg keys, and partial markings on the d&k keys. It's fine, because I touchtype and don't need to look, but it should be better made than this, even for the SOMEWHAT "low" cost.
The silver that goes around the edge also quickly becomes discolored and unattractive as the silver wears away and shows ugly yellowish-white plastic underneath.
If you don't look at your keyboard, though, it's a great buy. I love the feeling of it. I just wish it didn't end up so UGLY.
Kensington
did not reply to any of my many emails addressing the issue. Not even an acknowledgment that I had contacted them via email or their website forms. THIS is the primary reason why I would not buy another Kensington keyboard.

A fine keyboard for use with my notebook computer
A very good
keyboard
--flat with a thin profile. I use it connected to my Dell notebook along with a flat panel screen. Keys are notebook style and have a good feel. I like the extra keys for cd and sound volume control. I have used the calculator shortcut key several times. A good value for the price. Several keys are in unusual positions that take a short period of usage to get used to.
Decent Keyboard
Nice and compact which is what I needed for my DAW. Good action, however the layout takes a bit of getting used to after using an ergonomic style
keyboard
. No problems with the keys. Good build quality.

Small, Slim, and Works
Good feel and small footprint. This the first
keyboard
that I have used where the multi-media hot keys actually work. As does the stand-by hot key.
Overall it is a nice looking keyboard, but the chrome strip is a bit much and textured finish on the keys was not uniform when new. A few months of use has helped homogenized the surface appearance though. However, there is still some noticeable flow marks on the body of the keyboard, but rather subtle. OK, I am nit-picking, this is a great keyboard at a great price.
I am tempted to give this a five star rating, but the small blemishes hold it back, but only by half a star, so think of this as a four and a half star product.
If you are curious, this is running connected to a MacBook running XP. No problems with installation.

Best Keyboard Ever!
With silent keypress design, and a smaller footprint than conventional
keyboard
s, the
Kensington
Slim
keyboard is perhaps the best keyboard I have purchased to date. I have used many keyboards, but they are always lacking in some way. Keys too loud. Layout too IBMish. The Enter and Backspace are slightly oversized.
