Unbelieveable!

I purchased two of these online and they arrived two days ago. I have had a flea problem for several weeks now, and after bombing the house several time with inadequate results, I decided to try these. Since they are non-toxic and virtually effortless to use, I figured "why not?". So I set one up in my living room (behind my couch) and in my bedroom. These are the two areas where the fleas seemed to be most abundant. I left them over night and when I woke up (with no new flea bites!), I found over 2 dozen fleas in each trap. I was quite surprised because I hadn't realized that our problem was so extensive. I am about to purchase another two. I am extremely satisfied with this product. Although I don't expect it to rid us of fleas entirely, it certainly seems to be able to keep them to a minimum, killing them off before they can bite and reproduce. It also kept the fleas off of us at night, and that in itself made it a good investment!

It works!!!!

Love this product. I used spray flea killer, didn't kill them, but I almost got kill by the chemical. Lucky to find this Victor ultimate flea trap, caught around 20 fleas, and I no longer get bite. Worth the money.

Works.

What can I say, it works as advertised. Set it up overnight and caught one flea so far, but I don't have a huge infestation since I have wooden floors, but my dog is allergic to fleas, so whatever works to detract them is a plus.

To make the trap even more attractive to fleas, you may try using some citronella repellent on yourself or your (only the ones made for pets of course!) dog so the fleas will be less attracted to you and your pet and more likely to go for the trap.

The thing I like most about this design is that the basin is simple, yet deep enough to hold water. When you run out of sticky pads, you can just use dish soap & water as the trapping medium, and drown the fleas.

Oh yes..it works very well

I have 3 dogs & 1 kitty who all got fleas. I thought I'd gotten rid of all the fleas by treating the pets & the house. I didn't see any more &
all the scratching has stopped but within a few minutes of plugging in the
trap, and not even in a dark room, fleas began to show up in the trap.
This is a very good product & I'll probably get a few more.

Non-chemical solution!

I'd purchased a bottle of room flea spray at the store, but was hesitant to use it since I'm not big on chemicals. I just happened to stumble across this product as one of Amazon's recommendations after looking around for flea control products after I'd gotten an infestation while I was away on vacation. I was a little dubious as to this product's effectiveness at first despite the reviews, but ended up ordering since it's so cheap and easy to use.
I got some bugs during the first 2 weeks that I had the trap set up and most of them weren't fleas--a couple ants, a mosquito or two, a few other little bugs and then about 2-3 fleas. But I let it stay out because I saw a couple fleas on my cats. Sure enough, it's now a month after I originally set it up and there are TONS of fleas on the pad! I'm so happy my kitties and I don't have to deal with each and every flea that drowned in the glue!
The trap is bigger than I anticipated since I didn't look at product dimensions before ordering. It's not really something you can hide easily and the light is very much like a nightlight as other reviews indicate. I rather like this, though, because now I don't have to immediately turn on a light once I get home at night (since I have the trap set up near to my front door) and am balancing books and bags and whatnot. It does bother me having a light on all the time since I'm huge into turning off lights and electronics I'm not using, but it's a small watt lightbulb so...
But I most definitely recommend this product! It'd be great for immediate control of an infestation, as well as for the chronic management since, after an infestation, you'll still have the eggs all over your home for up to 2 years before they'll hatch. You don't have to spray every so often and put chemicals everywhere and you can see it working. Plus it's significantly more cost-effective than the room sprays anyway. It's been 1 month and I think it's time to change the pad for the first time. I'd gone ahead and purchased the 3-pad refill pack when I ordered the trap to save on shipping and I'm glad I did because I'm definitely going to keep using this product.
