Get this protective case, if any

This is better than the Sony PSP PlayGear Pocket. The latter is more manageable, but does not protect your PSP on a fall, especially the screen.

The Travel Case comes with a protective screen to hold it, it's got a thicker layer of protection, and you can put two discs in the case. The only disadvangage is that it's more cumbersome and somewhat heavier to handle than the Sony PSP PlayGear Pocket.

I got both to see the difference, and I do use the Sony PSP PlayGear Pocket in my house, but for travel always the Travel Case. Get the travel case, if you will only get one protective case.

I personally like this travel case. I don't think I have the exact same one that is for sale here (There are 2 different travel cases, one can hold 2 umds and one can hold 2 umds plus 2 memory sticks) I have the latter. It holds my umds and memory sticks without worry of being scratched or even moved. They stick in there pretty good. The rubber armour is everything you would expect it to be. it's sturdy, it feels SOLID and able to withstand many drops to the floor or pavement. This is a good case if you're interested in protecting your PSP while having a little room to carry a couple of games and sticks with you.

It hold 3 UMDs and 3 memory Sticks if you count the 2 inside the PSP.

Loose Fit

Really good at protecting psp, but doesn't hold it in well at all. It easily falls out. This shouldn't be much of a problem with adults, but don't get it if your psp is used by young kids (who tend to grab it from one another & then the psp falls to the ground). It's a good thing the psp is a sturdy "computer". I do like the fact that you can plug everything in with the lid closed. Oh, if you buy this & have kids playing the psp, take it out of this case first, then no problem.
