Lifestyle Observations From A Master

Dave Draper is as terrific a writer as he is an athlete. This is a great read on any level. His infectious enthusiasm for the sport and for life are very appealing. And the knowledge he imparts is relevant to anyone; male, female, beginner or advanced bodybuilder or just anyone looking to lose weight and get fit (like me). Anyone can profit from his exercise and nutrition expertise and besides, this is also autobiographical. Dave tells of his odyssey through bodybuilding, acting and now writing. Personally, have been a fan of Dave for quite a while so this was a treat, especially with all the many "blast from the past" photos. Consider this book for yourself and/or for a gift, don't think that anyone can go wrong.

motivation

After working out for 40 years and reading almost every book on the subject, I can truthfully say that this book is inspirational.I received my copy last week and have read it twice already. Not only is it full of practical advice but the way Dave writes, it is a great motivator. He reminded me why I decided to spend a life time working out and the sheer joy it brings everyday. He shares his unbound enthusiasm and delight for the dance with the iron and plain simple hard work.Definitely a book to read and re-read again over and over. Best of the Best

I've been on Dave Draper's mailing list for his weekly article for over a year. The arival of a few paragraphs of 'from the trenches' writing from Dave is the e-mail highlight of my week. Dave has the time put in to not give the easy answers (as most authors do) but to dig deep and give the hard ones, too. Brother Iron, Sister Steel is a big ball of knowledge, motivation, and an abiding love of the Iron Game. It sits on the top shelf of the Iron Books, with Keys to Progress, Super Squats, and Paul Kelso's Powerlifting Basics, Texas Style as books about weight training that have helped me more than a book should be able to.

Bomb on, Dave!
