Nice Flash

I have had this flash about a year and really like it. It is nice and powerful...just be aware of the differences between this flash and the SB800 (powerr and remote capability).

I would recommend getting a flash cord and bracket to be able to use the flash off camera (if you don't have wireless capability through your camera or an SB800).

All in all, a great buy.

Great Flash for my D40

Honestly I never put too much thought into the flash and was generally happy with the built in flash on my D40, but have been amazed by the lighting improvements using this flash. I never knew the difference a bounce flash can make compared to the basic front shadow fill using the built in flash until I could actually see the differences. I am still trying to learn more of the advanced lighting techniques available to me, and yes its one more thing to carry around.. But if you care about lighting and want better low light/indoor photos say hello to this great flash and say goodbye to red-eye among other things..
