Long lasting

This battery provided over 16 hrs of continuous shooting with a Digital Rebel XT using the built in flash approx. 75% of time. Recharging is quick too - about 1 hr when battery is fully discharged. This was a good buy - I have 2 of them.

Sometimes it doesn't pay to cut scrimp

So I figure when buying my second battery for the Canon EOS digital I'll just pick up a less-expensive item from the local electronics shack. In less than a year, it was dead, unlike the Canon battery which is still going strong in year 3 of heavy use.

There's a reason some batteries cost a bit more than others. Do yourself a favor and forget about the cheap alternative here.

Canon NB-2LH Battery

I bought a spare for long vacation trips for my G7. It provides about 300 to 400 shots worth of power, depending on flash useage. Unlike an aftermarket battery that I had bought for a different camera, this one keeps its charge well, and of course lasts as long as the original. Now, I always keep one on charge and one in my camera.
I have owned this pack for over seven months.
