Keeps up with my Digital SLR

I purchased the SanDisk 2.0 GB Ultra II for use in my Nikon D40 digital SLR. I shoot at the highest resolution (6.1 M pixel and fine) it has not slowed down my picture taking at all, even when I used the "continuous shooting" mode. It records multiple shots per second. I have used it for 1 month, including a recent trip, so I believe I have taken about 5-600 shots with it, and have had no problems with writing or reading.

No Faster in My Cameras

I have tested this SD card in my Panasonic and Kodak cameras and it is not faster than the standard Sandisk SD cards. I tried taking as many pictures as I could in a minute with the Ultra card and the standard card and the speed was the same.
My Panasonic camera also has a "burst" mode. Testing in this mode also showed no difference between the two card types.
Next I tested the write speed on my desktop computer.
Standard SD card 3.45 MB/second
Ultra SD card 8.25 MB/second
So the Ultra card really is much faster than the standard card. However for some reason, I didn't see any improvement in my cameras.

Not much to say. It's a memory card, and it works. I haven't personally noticed any difference in memory cards except for their sizes.

Great upgrade

I purchased this for my Treo680 cellphone. It works great, although I would have preferred the USB version I couldn't find it for the price I paid for this model. Read/write is faster then your standard SSD card which is why I bought this. All the laptop's at my work have a SSD reader so I also use it to share large files with co-workers when traveling. It can easily be a replacement for a USB thumb drive when you by the SDD/USB adapter too.
