Works well for me

I've been using this for over a year now. I record my readings 5 days a week onto a chart, along with my weight and calories burned. I used a cheap meter from Target before and found this unit is way more accurate.
One thing about using it, the readings can vary, depending on many things, including the shoes you are wearing. I figure it is measuring current, so possibly readings you take barefoot would be different than readings you take with shoes on. I've even noticed a difference with sandals and tennis shoes.
I finally realized the trick was to do the same thing every time, like they do at the gym (Bally's had one of these they wanted to charge me to use!)
I measure before I drink anything in the morning, with my workout shoes on, and get very consistent readings.
The value is not the reading itself, but how it changes over time. This way you can tell what food and what exercises are making the changes you desire.
Overall, I'd buy another one the same day, if this one broke.

The Omron HBF-306C Fat Loss Monitor works just fine and is easy enough to use. Established a baseline for everyone in the house (including daughter's fiancee, with a disgustingly low 8% body fat!)

One wonders why it is called a fat LOSS monitor. Presumably it will also measure increases over time. Advertising ploy one assumes.

Fast and Reliable

This fat loss monitor is very easy to work and a lot faster then the using calipers. This is probably the most convenient BMI and Fat Loss Monitor for the money.
