The Logitech G25 is simply great..!!

I have used the Logitech MOMO wheel for several years and just recently purchased the new Logitech G25 wheel/pedals/shifter from Amazon. I wanted to write this review to tell everyone that it is the very best! I am totally impressed by this fine piece of work by Logitech. It makes sim racing so much better and 'real'. I did not expect the incredible difference between the G25 and the MOMO. The MOMO was really good, but this one is terrific. The "H" shifter can be switched from "H" to sequential at the turn of a button. The pedals have been completely redone. Three pedals, throttle, brake and clutch. Heavy duty and work with precision. The wheel is stainless covered with real leather, as is the shifter knob and boot. If you really love racing then this is the wheel/pedal/shifter for you. You can't beat it.

The G25 is the best, I have tried several and would not trade it for any of the others..

The best entry level high end wheel on the market.

The G25 is much more precise than the DFP. It is smoother and quieter. The bumps on Daytona (GT5P-Japan) come to life, even the washboard entering turn 1 when you hit it just right. Racing with the G25 is no longer a "tug-of-war" as it is with the DFP. The pedals feel rock solid and surely can handle whatever you dish out. Having large paddle shifter allows you to make use of the thumb rest, unlike other wheels on the market. Having a separate shifter allows you to place it wherever you want.

Mounting the G25 to a Playseat Evolution is the ultimate set up, this side of a fully mechanical motorized cockpit. Mounting the shifter to the shifter add-on with for Playseat will give you a sense of being in a real race car. Which leads to a more immersive racing experience.

Amazon's price combined with 24 hour shipping for $4 is, by far, the best overall deal on the internet, this side of Black Friday sales. There is even an online store trying to sell an open box unit for $249 with no warranty!

I'm glad I'm a Gran Turismo die hard and I'm so appreciative that Playstation is not playing any sort of proprietary games with peripherals like "the other console" owned by Mr. Money Bags.

The G25 coupled with a Playseat Evolution is a must buy if you are looking for a realistic racing experience.

Logitech G25 Racing Wheel

I splurged on this steering wheel, this is my first steering set so i have nothing to compare to. The steering wheel feels great, pedals are awesome. Only gripe i have is the shifter. Maybe because i drive a stick car in real life, the shifter feel is totally done wrong. Its way to light to shift with no resistance. You can easily shift gears with just your fingers. Now how realistic is that? Even though, i love driving stick....i find myself putting it into paddle shift mode now because the shifter is disappointing. I will try some of the shifter feel upgrade mods mentioned in some youtube videos and report back. But c'mon logitech, you did a great job on the steering wheel, pedals, why cheap out on the shifter?!

Fun stuff

Haven't played this for a while but it's fun when I do. Much better control and the foot controls are well made. No problems with it so far and the forcefeedback is accurate enough for my tastes.
