Good and Reliable
This is the 4th
Lacie
drive
I have gotten and I have never been disappointed. Easy to set up and no problems running it. I will continue to shop Lacie.
good one!!
very solid - square type design
you can simply stack one when you buy the additional one
you can use this one for Mac Or Pc
You can simply divide the section of
Hard
Drive
Space
Comparing to the price, it has reasonable hard drive space
It has an on and off light and it easily pops up on the screen
after you turn on the device
It's a good product so far
I recommend this one

LaCie 500 GB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive
I unpacted the parcell and quickly read the instructions. The software provided worked well on Vista. It provided a complete backup with no problems but the backup was slow. I do not believe that the backup time was any slower than other backup units but there are some untis that are easier to use (the one click which I do not own) and some of the other backup units I considered buying. The reason I purchased this unit was price. For the price I feel it was a good investment.

a bit loud
This is the third
LaCie
hard
drive
I've bought in the last year, and the very first 500 gig one. The others were only 250 gigs each. It came with everything I needed to get it to run....power cable/brick,
USB
2 cable, and instructions. Runs perfectly on my mac and is small (although bigger than my 250 gigs) and has a good basic design.
The only tidbits that I didn't like were the fact that this unit is pretty darn LOUD. Even when I'm not actively moving data on and off, it sometimes revs up and won't stop until i reboot. Quite annoying. Also, the supplied power cord is just too short, maybe three feet.
Maybe I just got a bad hard drive, but It's something to note, the noise. Other than that, I would (and will) buy another one of these. Theyre reliable (haven't had one crash yet, crosses fingers) and fairly affordable.
