Delivers in all areas

This product satisfies a solution for an ever growing list of USB devices to be simultaneously connected to my (mostly deskbound)laptop.

It works as intended.

It delivers on function, styling and value.

Its compact size and most times optional power cord requirements makes it flexible for mobile computing.

Fully satisfied with this product and purchase.

Great way to extend your USB devices!

I am very pleased with this nifty little device! Now in addition to my 6 ports (minus 1 for the unit) you can add 7 more ports. Now we know we don't use our devices all at once. I read from another reviewer that the blue light bothered him. He was right! but I put a book over it and that's that. The light is on all the time even if the computer is off. It comes with a mounting kit to mount it to the desk, wall, unit, whatever. The KEY is this is a powered unit. It has to be plugged in to work. But it does work. Very small and compact, it powers my 4 external hard drives, and I still have 3 on the unit to spare plus I moved the ones plugged into the front to the unit. Overall I am very pleased a good investment of $25.00. Thank You Amazon!

Only one problem so far syncing to iPhone

I have this hooked to my MacBook Pro, with printers and Cameras attached. Those all work well, but when I try to sync my iPhone it does not work. I will try to unplug the other devices and give it another go, but just want to warn you if you are trying to sync iPhone from this hub it may have issues.

works well

i've been using this product now for about a month and i'm quite satisfied. many times, i'll buy a product and think it's okay and not leave a review but this little tool is worth recommending. i use it with my desktop though it's small enough to take with you and use with a laptop if you need a lot of usb ports for whatever. one reason i'm glad i read the reviews on this site is that another product had a really short cable and so it hung (!) from the desktop's usb port! can you imagine that? so i skipped that product and came upon this one. the cable that one uses to connect this hub to your desktop is long enough so that it won't be an issue. on my desktop, i just place it on top of my case. the cable is long enough for me to do that but you could just as easily place it on your desk. second, it can be powered from your desktop OR by the enclosed power cable and i like having that option. third, having 7 usb slots is just fantastic. i don't have to unplug anything to add something else. it works like a charm.

Excellent product

The second you hold this in your hand you will know that this is not a cheap plastic hub. This hub is VERY well made. The ability to secure this hub with screws was a feature that I had to have. Yet even so, I can slide the hub off of it's mounting plate in a second, and pack it in my notebook case. Some though went into this product.
