Best antivirus

I was looking for an antivirus solution, because my previous one did not work ok (I found it in the hard way...). I had a good experience with Kaspersky 6, so I decided to buy its latest version. I saw Kaspersky Internet Security for sale in $40, and I bought it.
This software includes Kaspersky antivirus, and protection against spyware, malware, spam, etc.
Since I have several PCs both at office and home, I bought two packages, for a total of 6 licenses. I had no problem installing this software in any of those PCs, and it worked good with my networks (wireless and wired) right from the begining.
For $40, you get 3 licenses, so you can use the same antivirus in 3 different PCs simultaneously.
Kaspersky is in my opinion the best antivirus solution, it did a clean install process, it updates hourly, it detects viruses, malware and trojan horses that other antivirus don't, and I didn't feel any slow down after installing it(the resident part requires about 5 MB of RAM memory, compared to 16 MB required by programs like Internet Explorer).

Over all best Anti Malware app.

I work in an IS department and we have searched for a decent anti-malware program for some time. While there are several very good products out there that will protect your PC, none do the job as well as Kaspersky. Other reviews put other products equal with Kaspersky but those products eat up the resources on the PC and slow it down as much as some of the Malware it protects you against. Some products were reviewed to be better in some area of protection but fell short in overall protection. Over time products rose and fell in there abilities to protect your PC but Kaspersky has remained steadly at or near the top performer. This is why we are dropping McAfee and are now deploying Kaspersky throught our business and install it on my friends and family PCs.
