Little Bee review

Immigration issue was enlightening, but I was very disappointed in this book. Some parts didn't make sense...like why would Little Bee stay and talk to the police when she could have easily slipped into the crowd of people. Although it was sometimes very interesting; overall, it was just a very sad and depressing story. The ending could have been so much better, which would have made everything Little Bee, Andrew and Sarah went through worth it. Not a fan of the ending at all.

I would not recommend it.

Little Bee

Great story even though it was a little left. We selected this book for our monthly book club and had a great discussion with many views. This was a timely discussion with the immigration issue in the US today. The new Arizona law should be applied nationwide!

Very good book

This book will keep you wanting more. Intense scenes but overall a really good summer reading book.

It's worth reading!

And if you are looking for a positive book for your child that is also written with a great moral overtone, then I'd like to recommend a book called, Smitty's Cave Adventures. It is an action adventure book about a boy who has incredible cave adventures all while learning valuable life's lessons. It's great for ages 9-14 and will keep the reader glued to the thrilling story! I recommend it as a great summer reading book. The kids can't stop talking about it. They want it to be made into a movie! Smitty's Cave Adventures

WE DON'T WANT TO TELL YOU TOO MUCH ABOUT THIS BOOK.

It is a truly special story and we don't want to spoil it.

Nevertheless, you need to know something, so we will just say this:

It is extremely funny, but the African beach scene is horrific.

The story starts there, but the book doesn't.

And it's what happens afterward that is most important.

Once you have read it, you'll want to tell everyone about it. When you do, please don't tell them what happens either. The magic is in how it unfolds.
