Still Being Read

This book has been through three little kids now, and still going. My two-year old grandson loves it, and his 6-year old sister is able to read it to him.

Not a favorite of mine

I read an article in a parenting magazine which suggested several "must have" books for babies/young children. This was on the list, so I ordered it from Amazon. I have to admit that I was personally disappointed. I find the story overly simplistic, even for a young child. The flaps aren't very sturdy, as it usually is with any book flaps. My daughters enjoyed the book well enough when they were very small, but it really isn't meant for children older than maybe one year or so.

Fun book, but easily destructible

Our boys loved this book very early on. The main problem is that the flaps are easily torn off. Within a few weeks, we were left with no flaps at all. it's still fun to read, but is missing about half the content.... some sturdier construction would have been a good idea.
