If
you
ever find yourself in the bookstore wondering what your next literary adventure should be,
this
is it. This amazing tale brings it all together: sorrow, joy, pain, sex, dysfunction, love, heartache, friendship, fear, freedom, triumph, and more. Lindsay Moss writes with such an infectious energy, and intimate style, that it feels as though she is telling you this story in person over a cup of coffee. The story leaps off the page, and you will find yourself laughing out loud, and also wiping tears from your cheeks. I anxiously await more of Lindsay's writing!

genius in pink
...out of the heart and soul of an abused child rises a gifted storyteller with comic delivery equal to Carol Burnette and Joan Rivers, and the sexual and social frankness of Dr. Ruth...a talented
you
ng dancer and classic beauty with a new spin on love, loss and laughter. Reading Lindsay's story every night in my living room was like being face to face in her intimate space. I can't wait to read more!
A delightful read
This
book was funny and intriguing from the beginning. The main character is hillarious and the mother is hell on wheels but definitely makes the book a page turner.
You
won't beable to put it down because you can't wait to find out if everyone lives happily ever after in the end.

A wow of a book!!!
I just loved
this
book!!!! Lindsay Moss expresses herself openly and honestly while telling the story of Lexxie Parker a
you
ng woman who is planning her wedding and trying to overcome life with an alcoholic mother who puts
drink
ing above the needs of her children and a father who puts his wife ahead of everything and everyone else. Lindsay writes Lexxie's story from the heart, with tons of laughter and tons of tears. She shows that with a great sense of humor, inner strength and determination , along with love of her friends, a great brother, and the love of the man of her dreams that she can turn lemons into lemonade! This book is a refreshing pitcher of lemonade!!! I met Lindsay Moss at a woman's book club meeting and Lindsay was the guest author! She is one of the most impressive young woman I've met, beautiful inside and outside.. articulate and talented.. this new author can't miss... she has a hit book and I can't wait to see what's next!!! Keep them coming Lindsay!!!! We need to know what happens next in Lexxie's life!!!!

Amazing book by an AMAZING woman
From having my book signed and kissed by the Lindsay Moss herself, not to mention working with her at 'the' theme park at the stage while reading
this
book, has to have been one of the BEST things that has ever hit my life. Her book is a book that
you
CANNOT put down and want to reach the end, tears in your eyes and hope that everything will turn around for the main character. Being able to hug the author herself once I had read the book, was great and knowing what a HUGE impact the book had on my life and sharing it with my friends and family was a huge gift that I gave to Lindsay Moss. I tell everyone no matter what your age, race or gender you will fall in love with this book and feel the sorrow and joy that is written in the pages of this book. Simply you will fall in love with the book and the author herself.

Let's face it, planning a wedding for any mother and daughter is no day at the spa. But does one crazy, "ready-for-reheb" mother plus one headstrong, "so-over-the-B.S." daughter equal disaster in the dysfunction equation? Lexxie Parker is a professional dancer who has struggled to swim upstream of her family's dirty little alcoholic secret for her entire life. Barely making it to the end of her twenties with her sanity and humor "somewhat" intact, she's now faced with the ultimate challenge: Planning the wedding of her dreams with the Queen of Lunacy--her mother. Strap on
you
r seatbelt for a ride to remember in
this
entertaining yet poignant slice of life that is sure to make you gasp and giggle, and see if Lexxie's walk down the aisle is paved with hot pink chiffon or spilled vodka and tonics.
