Essential for the house officer
This is a thorugh review of
pediatric
s in a concise format. It is easy to read and intuitive in its use. As a family physician resident, I wonder how I got so far along without it. Harriet Lane is great, it just doesn't fit so nicely in my coat's pocket :)
Great concise guide for pediatrics--outpatient or ER
Wow! This book is a perfect, concise source for information in the general
pediatric
s setting---primary care, urgent care, ER, etc. The information is well presented in an easy to read and access format. It's layout is similar to the very popular
Tarascon
Pediatric ER book (the yellow one) that I found useful as well. This book has all the important, hard-to-remember information like the Salter Harris Fracture classification, options for hearing evaluations for different ages, etc. I highly recommend this book for nurses, residents, attendings, and students.
