Great Guide, Especially For Relative Newbies

Magic Lantern guides have always impressed me. They're fun to read, have great tips on how to master your camera, and throw in some creative ideas here and there as well. I purchased the guide for the D90 after having a D80 (my D80 was stolen, I didn't just upgrade from the D80 to the D9)), so I wasn't exactly brand new to the camera and how to use it, but I still enjoyed reading through the whole guide. I highly recommend it for any amateur photographer and/or anyone new to the D90.

good book but somewhat sloppy

This is a good book, and I have indeed learned quite a bit about using my D90, but I find it a bit lame that most of the images are just tossed in, often with no real tie to the text. No meaningful captions (with image information) are included. In addition, there are many typos that really should have been caught by an editor. I do, however, like the wallet guide, a useful idea. As mentioned above, this is a good book that could indeed merit five stars; I just wish the publisher would have spent a bit more time making it a great book.

Excellent Guide for the D90

This is a clear easy to read and understand quide to using and appreciating the features and funtionality of the Nikon D90 camera. I have found it useful in looking up specific items and/or functions. Likewise it is an easy read going from cover to cover.
