it's that easy, that simple and that powerful. healing through prayer. also Jesus The Book or Autobiography of a Yogi (Reprint of the Philosophical library 1946 First Edition) are telling the same. thank you mariann williamson reminding us again on this divine gift everybody of us have. great book!

Illuminata: A Return to Prayer

This book is extremely helpful to me. I am in recovery and do a lot of praying and talking to GOD. This book helps me at certain times if I pray for specific things, such as letting go, or helping me with my faith, or helping me to love myself more, etc. It has all types of prayers in it. I haven't read it from cover-to-cover but have read many of the prayers. Many of my friends have this book, as well. I recommend this book to anyone...it's a great book.

The book is beautifully written with so much soul and love put into it. Marianne, congratulations for this beautiful book - it speaks volumes of who you are and your soul.

Being a non believer of anything for most of my life because of the destructive world we live in with so many misconceptions of the world around us and people around us fueld by our politics and our society, I found this book so enlightening. I was always at a loss as to how and what to pray. This book is the best tool and guide I was given on life as well as on setting my prayers and especially using the ones given in this book. Thank You, Marianne, for this gift.

Illuminata is so insightful on what is meant to be spiritual, as opposed to being religious. Sometimes being religious can do us a great disfavour beacause we value only what is ours and doubt and disrespect what is not ours and we seem to lack knowledge and respect for what is different from ours. Being spiritual is being and living on a much higher plane. It's like one person having a view of life from a roof top and the other from an airplane or a spaceship - depending where we are in our spiritual development. Being religious can be narrowing and limiting but being spiritual is being liberated from all misconceptions because you are aware of life - you do not live life under any illusion - you see through all the fog set by society.

It is about understanding that life is comprised of ups and downs and that during our downs as well as during the ups we need to have faith - faith in ourselves and faith in the universe, in God, that we will be brought out of our temporary darkness.

Bless you Marianne for this wonderful book - I would make it a primer in every public school. If you can and have the power, please do so, you would be doing our society a great favour and sparing us and others from pain and suffering.
