Reflecting His Image

is a powerful series of related essays, all focused upon taking up the Cross of
Christ
and reaching the lost. I enjoyed the book becasue it goes well past the superficial Christ-less-anity books that seem to be the standard fare for many. This is a call to holiness in action. If I were to change one thing about this book, I would turn it into a devotional. The messages tend to get all jumbled (at least for me) when read together. As a devotional, I think it will give the Holy Spirit more to work with over time. While I felt the Revolution in World Missions was better, I can (& will) easily recommend this book to many others who are also looking for a deeper walk with our Lord.

Something we all need to hear

book is amazing. I don't want to sound sensationalist, but frankly there is no other way to describe it. I never even realized the true condition of
Christ
ianity (and non-Christians) on this planet.
The version I have is from the 90's, but it's pretty much the same. One statistic he stated in there is that there are "3.8 billion people going to hell in this world," and then all I've ever thought of Christianity is going to Church and getting involved in a ministry.
I suppose that it could have been arranged a little bit better, but that seems kind of incidental to me. He gets the point across exceedingly, and presents a life-changing message to every Christian. Plus, as of the time of this writing, a used copy is only $.50, so it's not like it's a big financial risk or anything! :)

How Did It Happen?
?God has promised me that
His
mercies toward me are new every morning, but lately I?ve begun to feel pretty stale.?
The Lord has promised that out of us rivers of pure, lifegiving water would flow. But over time, we often find that water can become polluted with the cares of this world, dragging us into mediocrity.
Has the freshness in your walk with the Lord somehow diminished? Have you failed and now wonder if there is a way to fully recover? Do you hunger for a life beyond the rut of mediocrity? This easytoread book is full of short chapters that touch on these issues and many more. Let K.P. Yohannan take you on a journey back up the mountain to the source of true, living water?
Christ
Himself. As you daily choose the narrow path that Jesus walked, you will discover God?s ultimate purpose for your life to reflect His likeness and walk in His newness of life.
