A great but short read

The third Sluggy book is just as great as anything else Sluggy. It has all the charecters (Torg, Riff, Zoe) and even introduces new ones. All the stories in this book are funny and like most Sluggy books they're weird. Due to the odd way this title is presented I reccomend buying the other Sluggy books to know whats going on in the complicated Sluggy universe. Even if you don't buy the other books the adventures in this one will quickly have you laughing. The only problem with this excellent book is that it is a bit short (even with the new comic added) and could be read in only a few sittings. However it's great and can be read again and again. Highly reccomended for fans of sci-fi movies & comics and anybody who enjoys odd humor.

OK, if you haven't read the 2 earlier Sluggy books, you will need to in order to follow some of the storylines in "Holidays". But you *should* read the earlier books anyway, as they are howlingly funny, and you should read this one for the same reason. That, and for the demented reasons why holidays are to be avoided at all costs. And for the color bonus story of Zoe's very bad, horrible, no-good day.

Another outstanding Sluggy Freelance title. Confess, you read the on-line comic, but sometimes you just can't smuggle your laptop into your pocket...WHEN HOLIDAYS ATTACK is more of the insane yet ever so sane adventures of Riff, Torg, Zoe, Bun-Bun and the whole gang. Find out why why "propane" came with a 5 year styling contract and exactly what Torg's heart is made of. Watch Bun-Bun unfold evil plans (psst...watch out Santa and the Easter Bunny!). Enjoy a Sluggy Mummy Christmas. And let's not forget the return of Sam (Sam is The MAN!)...

Sluggy freelance is, in my opinion, the best web comic out there. Pete never fails to keep it interesting, and even on his 6th book, it never gets old. This is a great example of slugginess, but due to the constant plot twists and stuff in his books, you should really read the first two books first. This book is full of great humor and action. buy it today.
