This is an excellent book to help anyone speak some Spanish right away.

Could be better

The lessons are quick and easy for anyone who wishes to just get a brief overview of Spanish to use on a trip. However, I don't think that the chapter regarding the alphabet is all that clear to anyone who has not ever taken a language. Also, the CD-ROM is terrible. It has no pronunciation of the alphabet at all nor does it follow along as a lesson guide to the whole book. A person could save themselves money in buying the book without the CD-ROM.

Great book for beginning Spanish. Easy to follow and understand. Lots of place for practice and CD-ROM is great for practice too!!

Good mix for beginners

I bought this for my husband, so he can learn spanish (I'm from Argentina, so I speak spanish). In general has a very good mix for begginers. You will know the basics and some good tools for survival.

Personally I don't like that have some expressions that are only used in Mexico (I lived in several spanish speaking countries, including Mexico); but in general I think is a good product.

The stickers is a very good tool to reinforce the knowledge, the CD with the little games to reinforce colors and objects is great too! I will recommend this product.
