A fun and interesting read

I found this book to be highly informational in addition to just being a fun ride all the way through.

Great for beginners of the art called Pickup Artistry

I don't want to reiterate what others stated before me, so I urge you to buy this book if you are new to the pickup community. Apart from the history of the community in the early 2000's, you get a personal perspective on how things unfolded in this budding and ever growing field, the history of the author from AFC to a pickup guru and then to a more refined and confident man that Neil Strauss is.

It is a fantastic story. Enjoyed reading it. But not sure if I can use the same techniques - appears a bit too complicated. It is basically for advanced pick up artists, certainly not for beginners.

Got better with girls just reading the book...

After devouring this book in two, I obviousally couldn't put it down, I feel like I have been missing out for most of my life. After learning how one man arguably become the greatest pickup artist in the world I have no inclination to follow in his foot steps as his lifestyle after only a year is depressing and unlivable as far as im concerned. But what it did do is give me an opportunity to see how much I have been in general a failure with girls and what I was doing wrong. After just reading this book and making no further action on the path to becoming a PUA I feel more confident and find it easier to open and talk to girls. I think everyone who is bad with girls should at the very very least just read this book to get a general idea about how anything is possible as the author was transferred from a girless chode to the PUA in the world in one year.

I think few people will want to emulate his lifestyle of meaningless relationships and living in a house full of PUA's but it is a very good introduction to the subject. Just read the book, get what you can from it and then choose how much farther you want to persue the subject but this is truly the easiest first step towards becoming better with girls.

The Game (And it is all over after she figures out your playing a Game)

This book was mildly entertaining to read. This book describes the author's self educated story regarding what set of behaviors he needed to learn and exhibit around women in order to obtain the ultimate goal of getting laid. Most people learn this stuff on their own in high school and college. I mean really how hard is it to get laid in High School or College where women are just as horny as the guys. But if some of you guys need help this is your book. This book may give some of you that need it a few social skills regarding how to approach and talk to women in an effort to get some. And basically his advice is telling a woman anything she needs to hear to be entertained and put in a trance of attraction in order to get into her pants. Or you can look at this book as a self improvement book to improve yourself, change and ADAPT yourself so that women are attracted to you and want to sleep with you. This author even went so far as to join groups and pay money to attend seminars on how to become a so called "pick up artist". Most of these groups were formed by nerds and other guys that could not get laid, in an effort to learn the best techniques regarding picking up women (such as minds games, magic, spells, etc lol). The author became one of the best "PUAs" (Pick Up Artist = PUA) in the world. I really hated all the abbreviations he uses in the book and they get annoying after a while. This book shows you how much money one can make by training a group of nerds that wish to pay $$$$ to learn how to be successful at picking up women. There are so many women now online that pay monthly fees to dating services, and are just begging to be taken, that I really don't think one needs to work too hard to get laid now in this day and age. Just go online and say "HI" to one of them is sometimes all it takes. There is such an overload of sex on the internet and everyday life anyway that pornstars and prostitutes no longer make that much money. It is truly amazing how much $50 to $100 will get you now lol.

However, if you need to learn these tricks to help you sharpen your skill set your in luck, but beware if you rely on deceptive tactics after you obtain your goal, your on your own to deal with her intellectual side. There is nothing in this book to educate one on how to sustain any long type of loving relationship built on trust.
Read this book to be entertained, but beware of Karma when pulling off any of his advice and the unavoidable consequences caused by your conduct if you are not truly genuine towards the women you meet. Some of the tactics could result in getting your a$$ kicked by other guys or by the women you interact with. This could be a perfect guide on how to create an emotionally scorned woman ready for revenge. Or a guide for a one night stand.

The funny thing is that the advice works. And this is just a book built on psychology tricks to learn how to adapt and flirt with women if you have some type of fear of talking to them.

This book should come with a box of condoms because your gonna need them if you learn how to flirt. Watch out for paternity suits and STDs.

I do like the design of the book how it comes with a ribbon book mark. It is like this book is your bible to women lol. Enjoy it! Neil is a great author and I do enjoy reading his stuff, but he has so much more potential than the info in this book. I liked his book on Emergency Survival better than this one. A bunch of this stuff in his book is on utube for free check it out first before you buy this book to make sure you are interested in spending money on this type of book. Personally, I think he could dress a lot better than the way he is dressed in his videos that I have seen online.
