Butterfly book - beautiful

I bought a few copies of this book to give out at a birthday party to the children who came. However, I read it first. It is just delightful and educational as well, and the kids just loved it!

Perfect for butterfly raising

This book goes perfectly with the Live Butterfly Pavilion because the caterpillars you receive in the kit are painted ladies. My 5 year old loved the book and the kit. The book really prepared us well for what to expect and also reinforced the changes we we observing.

We bought this book to accompany the Butterfly Pavilion from amazon.com. This book was a little above her level of understanding, she is only 2 after all. She did get the gist of it. Great illustrations and concise.

Very Informative

I bought this for my son's pre-school class along with the butterfly kit. The kids loved it and the teacher was thankful for the book that explained the process in a way the kids would understand. If you are going to buy the butterfly kit then this is a must.

A caterpillar comes to school in a jar. The class watches the caterpillar each day as it grows and changes. Soon, it disappears into a hard shell called a chrysalis. Then the chrysalis breaks, and a beautiful butterfly flies out of the jar! This is a perfect beginner's guide to the mystery of metamorphosis.
