Horse Sense
This is the first
book
I have come across that treats the whole range of what one might come across in being owned by a horse and what to do should they need help. There are of course some points not picked up amongst them the Connemara Pony which has been accepted into the thoroughbreds, and which are a delight to own, being half Arab and half or less West Irish bog ponies (from the Spanish Armada). Very good detail and sage advice and the how tos' included, a present for my Grandchild who is studying for Veterinarian

Fast service. Excellent shape the
book
was in. Would purchase from this company again. Thank you.
good reference book, but...
Being a new horse owner, I found this
book
somewhat helpful. A multitude of horse illnesses, injuries and conditions are described in an easy to understand language making it a good
reference
book.
However, this book would have been greatly improved if there were photos of each of the conditions described (there are none).
It also would have been helpful if there were an index to look up conditions by their major or most common symptoms, something a horse owner can reference if their horse is ill or injured.
