Teaching 3rd grade math
Good book with some innovative ideas on how to give
student
s a hands on approach to
teaching
math. I hate doing drills and needed some ideas on how to approach math in a way the students could work with their peers and figure out different methods of getting to the same conclusion. Students need several strategies to get to where they need to go. They don't all take the same path.
For Everyday Use
I use this to plan my lesson for junior high
student
s. Yes, I sometimes need to tweak them, but they are excellent. The focus on the objective. Make sure that the objectives match your purpose. Do not do activities that do not increase the retention of the objective.
