Nice touch and feel book

We are a big fan of these books--especially That's Not My Dinosaur (Usborne Touchy Feely) and That's Not My Monster... (Usborne Touchy Feely).

That's Not My Puppy: Its Coat Is Too Hairy (Usborne Touchy Feely) is a great addition to the series. The board book features textured pages that kids love to touch as you exclaim "That's not my puppy!" Each page has a mouse on it and my granddaughters love looking for him after we have discovered that the puppy is not yet ours!

Read it and re-read it

This is a book for very, very young readers, so I'll spare you the metatextual analysis and just say that my 15 month-old can't get enough of this book. It's short, but apparently quite riveting, as we usually start from the beginning as soon as we finish it. Sometimes, to change things up, I start from the end and work my way backwards, and the book seems to work just as well that way.

The different textures are fun for the little ones to feel, too. It's a durable book, as well, which is a major consideration for this age group.

Good but could be better

The idea of these books is great and my daughter does really like it but these are way too short! Just as she is getting really engaged with touching and feeling, it's done! Why couldn't they make these books such that there are a few more in there instead of just 3 or 4?

Perfect for Baby- all three of mine loved it!

We have several of the "That's Not My..." and this one has been one of our favorites along with: That's Not My Dolly. I recently just got this on out for our newest addition and she just loves the different textures. The simple text also makes it a favorite for my older two (3 and 5)to read to baby. So cute! And fun to read

I love reading this book to my 6 month old! It's easy to say the words in an interesting way to get baby's attention. And the different textures of the dogs make this fun and interactive for baby!
