Good for beginner

I found this book is good for those who have never programmed before but not for those who have already started learning C# and wish to improve on it. I bought this book to supplement the book that was required for my course and it really wasn't much help.

C# has been around for awhile now, but popularity has only grown in the nearly 10 years it has been around. If you are new to C# development, this is a solid guide that will get you up and moving, creating C# applications quickly and more efficiently than ever before. I wish the layout was a little more exciting to stand out a bit from other books on the shelf, but the approach used here gets the job done. If you are an experienced C# developer, the heart of the book lives in chapters 27-28. The developer learns how to put to use multi-core processors and get more done in their application faster than ever before. Threading used to be a difficult thing to do and control in the past. With Visual Studio 2010 this confusing act is covered well here so that C# apps written today can hit light speed and beyond!!

This is a very good introductory text for C#. However, it's not always useful as a reference guide.
