comprehensive and must have

Probably one of the most complete works on research fundamentals, biostats, and design strategy. A must for all grad students in any of the biomedical fields, even clinicians.

Satisfied

I am glad to receive the book in good condition and i am very satisfied with the service. This book is recommended by my lecturer and having to get it (it is not wavilable locally) really help me with my course.

Very Useful

Purchased this book for a course. It is quite useful, particularly for those like me who do not know much about how to do clinical research but need to learn. Wish that it had a little more explanation of the statistics, though. Otherwise, very helpful book.

Excellent alternative!!!

So much better/CHEAPER than purchasing your books at the campus bookstore!!! Only wish I had discovered this sooner!!! Got this book for my daugher at half the cost of what I would have paid on campus!!!

Clinician friendly book

I am a foreign medical graduate from Thailand.
Since my background about conducting research is very small.
This book let me 'get stated in the world of clinical research'.
As the authors introduce, this book provide high yield to
design research protocal, yet not in dept statistic book.

Designing Clinical Research sets the standard for providing a practical guide to planning, tabulating, formulating, and implementing clinical research, with an easy-to-read, uncomplicated presentation. This edition incorporates current research methodology--including molecular and genetic clinical research--and offers an updated syllabus for conducting a clinical research workshop. Emphasis is on common sense as the main ingredient of good science. The book explains how to choose well-focused research questions and details the steps through all the elements of study design, data collection, quality assurance, and basic grant-writing. All chapters have been thoroughly revised, updated, and made more user-friendly. "Doody's Core Titles™ 2009."
