i ilked the cd that came along with the book. it had very good images. i like the chapter summaries

Better condition than indicated

Great book. Originally used an older version in med school, but needed a cheap, soft cover anatomy book for quick reference in fellowship. Maybe a little basic, but I think still more detailed than Netter. And not overly detailed like Skandalakis.

The primary aim of this book is to present the essentials of human anatomy in a clinical context. Appropriate language has been used to promote the clarity of communication. Clinically relevant comments are dispersed throughout the text to sustain the reader's interest. Colour illustrations, CTs and MRIs are used to aid comprehension and 3-dimensional thinking. The book shows how anatomy has clinical relevance and that it is applicable to everyday activities. Surface anatomy is emphasized because the clinical examination begins there.
