great suspense and VERY sexy

totally an extraordinary movie its got GREAT sex scenes, but the woman in the movie is one of the CREEPIEST people i have ever seen on screen and as the mystery unfolds everyone thinks she is responsible for the killings until a few pieces of evidence turn up.........and the movie takes off and her lesbian lover wants to kill the cop investigating as she becomes taken by him.......its a GREAT all round action suspense movie although an ice pick and axe murder kind of keep this character from being overly appealing.......

bottom line is that she writes a horror romance and the investigating cops ex turns out to be the one who is obsessed on this woman and acts this out.....great story

Greatest Movie Ever

This is an amazing movie with one of the greatest story lines. It pulls you into the story. Sharon Stone has an iconic moment while being interrogated. Michael Douglas plays the deceived detective whose life is turned upside down by Stone's character. I love this movie.

When a cop's search for a ruthless killer leads him to wealthy and seductive author, his involvement turns personal, and he must balance their affair with the mounting evidence against her. Sharon Stone looks great in this movie and lives up to being one of the sexest and smartest women in Hollywood, acting opposite of one of the most respected men in Hollywood, Michael Douglas. This movie is one you have to see if you are a movie fan. It is full of twists and turns and an ending you would never have expected.

I love this movie but i mean the quality of the old movies on blu ray does not match with the quality of the new movies.

Well-casted flick. Sharon is hot. Michael Douglas does a very good job. Well worth your time.

In the role that made her a star (and showed the audience a little more skin than she intended), Sharon Stone plays the cleverly manipulative novelist Catherine Tramell who snares San Francisco detective Nick Curran (Michael Douglas) with her insatiable sexual appetite during the investigation of her boyfriend's murder. Tramell is the prime suspect, but the plot twists and turns until Curran is trapped in a dangerous cycle of dead ends and unsolved murders, never sure if Tramell is committing the crimes or if it is some other, unknown suspect.
