Glad I Read it!

Wow! I read the other reviews and was shocked! I don't know what the warnings about "covering theology" and "clergy/lay system" mean--all I know is that in the beginning, all angels and creation was and is under God. That is exactly what I got out of this book-TRUTH about the benefits of recognizing & acknowledging the authority figures in your life. Anybody that has a problem with that, must have a problem realizing that they didn't birth themselves. Whether you like it or not, we all are under someone (parent, the President, local law enforcement, court system) who is given the responsibility, at some point in our lives, to make decisions that affect our life. Life is more "abundant" when you accept this fact rather than rebel against it. That's all "my man", John Bevere is saying here. Don't read too deep into the other stuff. Well done, Mr. Bevere! Thanks for sharing it with us! I'm sitting happy and pretty and my life has been "peas and carrots" with Jesus ever since I read the book!

Great read and very thought provoking. It also made me realise that perhaps I rush into things and need to stop for a moment, think about what's happening and where God might want that to go - if at all.

I loved John's openness and I could almost feel I was travelling his experiences with him.

Great Book for Training Leaders

This is a great book to use in leadership training classes. The author really makes the subject of submission & authority simple and revelant. Our church purchased copies for our leadership team.
