ugly's reference

This book is exactly what it says it is....a perfect reference for beginners in the electrical field....computer geeks...etc. Small, handy, seems complete for what the apprentice needs.

Must have electrical reference

I was very pleased with this book and also surprised to find it contained much more information than previous editions. I needed formulas and better visuals I could not find on the web. This book is a must have for anyone working in electrical occupations. I bought it to help me review for a test and it was a great resource to freshen up my memory and to learn from.

circuit wiring

I think the book is a good source of information. I think it would be a great book if it included some wiring schematics showing the color code of single phase and three phase distribution with a good working explanation of sizing neutral wires and sharing neutral wires.

I've used UGLY's for years, had to get a new one for my new job. This book has everything an electrician would need to know on the job and then some. Short of having to wire up a nuclear sub, UGLY's will get you through the task.
