EXECELLENT BOOK

This book was great from beginning to end. It makes you think about all of the things women will go through to get and try to keep a man. It also had a feel of history to it. I really enjoyed it from cover to cover.

Great Read...

This love story truly depicts the notion on how true love can stand the test of time, no matter how long. I'm not sure I agree with the relationship between Trey and Haywood. Due to the nature of their relative relation, it was a little to close for comfort for me. I also felt it was a little long. I believe she could have left the entire storyline regarding Haywood and Trey out and it still would have been a great read. Even with that, I still thought it was good. I love Brenda Jackson's books and she has yet to disappoint me.

To all that haven't read this wonderful book it is the best love story I believe ever written. If you want to read about real true love and how it prevails then read this book because it will have you on the edge of your seat! It makes you happy, angry and feeling like you want a love as this. Ties That Bind

Brenda Jackson is out did herself in this novel, Ties That Bind. I love it from the beginning to the end. I could stop reading it. The only thing I wish is that I should have read this before I read Want A Woman Wants. Ties That Bind ties to the story in that books and a few others I plan to read.

Great until around the ending

Okay, Brenda had me with this book from page one. I couldn't stop reading it. The whole story with Randolph and Jenna was so touching and beautiful. The only thing that got me was when his son by Angela and her daughter by her ex husband hooked up. To me that's kind of gross because Randolph and Jenna got married so that made Ross III and Haywood step brother and sister. Now Randolph and Jenna had a child together making her their half sister respectively. THAT'S JUST GROSS to me. I don't think they should've hooked up. Other than that, I'm glad that they really found each other again after all of the deviousness that went on for far too long.
