Great character and plot development. An excellent read!

Jackie Collins really did a superb job in terms of BOTH character and plot development. You really get involved with the characters, all of them. Particularly Anya's story and her character are very compelling and you'll find yourself really rooting for her. The setting descriptions are vivid, just right. This story will stay with you and you'll be glad that's how you spend your reading time . I just have one little gripe: The title "Married Lovers" somehow doesn't do the book justice. Somehow, I see the book with a more spectacular title, something less mondane. Maybe a title that would allude to Anya's story?
If you're looking for an entertaining read with insightful depth, then "Married Lovers" is the perfect read. Just a suggestion: read it when you know you'll have some time to spare - it's hard to put down (I ended up planning my day around this book, haha).

Jackie is at it again!

As always Jackie comes through again with a great book! As always full of excitement and great writing. We expect no less from her.

A MUST READ BOOK

This newest book written by Jackie Collins is a must read. It will keep your interest from beginning to end. Normally I do not read fiction books but this one was worth the read. I purchased over two hundred (200) books for family and friends as a Christmas gift. Thanks, Brenda

Typical Collins book...kind of blah...

I'm not real sure why I purchased this book by Jackie Collins. I already own several that I've collected over the years. Some a fairly decent read, some not. And I probably shouldn't use the word decent when I'm referring to a book by JC. Because, and let's face it, JC can get downright crude with her filthy mouth in some of her prose. I'm no prude and I can see where that stuff can be used in certain instances, but JC uses it a little too much and too often in her books. I will have to say though, that I read this book non-stop and when I was finished, I asked myself "WHY?" I pretty much knew how it would end, I mean, doesn't the boy always get the girl or vise-versa and with a happy ending? And we're told that most readers want a "happy ending"...even though that's not always the case in real life. I think JC writes what she knows best and that's real Hollywood lifestyle. Kind of sad when you think about it, but then, that's why I don't live in L.A. ;-) This is a typical average JC read. If a reader likes her prose, then that same reader will probably like this book. It wasn't all that bad...it just wasn't all that good.

Three high-powered Hollywood couples, two hot affairs, one underage Russian ex-hooker, a passionate murder?and the players? lives are changed forever.

Cameron Paradise, a stunningly beautiful twenty-four-year-old personal trainer, flees Hawaii and her champion-surfer husband, Gregg, in the middle of one of his abusive tirades and makes her way to L.A. Tall, blond, with a body to die for, it doesn?t take Cameron long to find a job at an exclusive private fitness club where she encounters LA's most important players. She has plans to open her own studio one day, and while every man she meets comes on to her, she is more focused on saving money and working hard than getting caught up in the L.A. scene of wild parties and recreational drugs.

Until she meets Ryan Lambert, an extremely successful independent movie producer. Ryan is married to overly privileged Mandy Lambert, the daughter of Hamilton J. Heckerling, a Hollywood power-player son-of-a-bitch mogul. Ryan has never cheated on his demanding Hollywood Princess wife, but when he meets Cameron, all bets are off, especially since she?s seeing his best friend Don Verona, the devastatingly attractive talk-show host and legendary player.

In her latest sizzling blockbuster, internationally bestselling author Jackie Collins explores what happens when lust and desire collide with marriage and power?and the results lead to murder.
